The stream is delivered using the HLS protocol. If you need to configure your network to ensure your users can access our video delivery platform, you'll find all the necessary details on the "Network Configuration" page.

The video playback is available in various qualities to automatically give viewers the best experience for their devices and network conditions. The highest available quality usually corresponds to the stream directly from your encoder (passthrough), while our platform automatically generates several lower-quality options from your original input.

HLS ladders details

A HLS ladder is a set of multiple video streams encoded at different resolutions and bitrates to accommodate varying network conditions and device capabilities, facilitating adaptive streaming. The specific ladder we create varies based on your source settings, and whether the HD CBR mode is activated or not:
